Allu Arjun made INR3 billion from Telugu film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule,' becomes the highest-paid Indian actor in over a century!

This makes Arjun the highest-paid star in the 112-year history of cinema in India.

His remuneration surpasses previous records held by other top Indian actors, including Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay and Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.

Prior to Allu Arjun's record-breaking deal, Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay held the title of highest-paid Indian actor, commanding INR2.75 billion for his final film Thalapathy 69. This film is particularly significant as it marks Vijay's transition from cinema to politics.

(On February 2, 2024, Vijay launched his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) to fight State Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry, due in April, 2026.)
