Depute Provost John Sweeney has taken over at the helm of KA Leisure.
The Saltcoats and Stevenston councillor has been announced as Chairman of the Board of the leisure authority, following the retirement of long-serving chair Ashley Pringle.
And his Labour colleague cllr Louise McLaughlan has also been brought in to help.
