"GO to Tommy's.

- By ANDREW ROBINSON editorial@examiner.co.uk @examiner

That's the advice I was given by a couple of people in Mirfield when the subject of cake, coffee and lunch came up. But they neglected to tell me it’s not actually called Tommy’s, nor did they warn there’s no name sign above the door.

Tommy's, properly known as Qream T’s Cakery, was founded by Tommy Turner six years ago and he’s now got two cafes, one in Huddersfield Road, Mirfield and a second at Toll Gavel, Beverley.

The menu, headed “Cakes, Treats and Lunches”, says that everything is made in the Qream T's cakery and that “our treats are what we're known for. There is always at least 12 treats to choose from.”
