Thugs attacked shopworker and ran off with till

WITNESS APPEAL AFTER REMAINS OF CASH BOX FOUND

POLICE are hunting four thugs who “made off” with a till box from a petrol station in Halifax, leaving the cashier with “facial injuries”.

West Yorkshire Police were called on Sunday after reports that the cashier of a petrol station in Shelf, Halifax, had been assaulted in a robbery at 7.34am.

Police reported that the four men, wearing “face coverings” and dark clothing, backed up to the rear of the station in a black Volkswagen estate.
