Neo worries for Town's loanee

HUDDERSFIELD Town defender Neo Eccleston feels his loan spell at Grimsby Town is "going well" despite having limited game time so far this term.

The 22-year-old has made just five appearances for the Mariners since signing from the Terriers on a season-long loan on deadline day.

The right-back is in the second loan spell of his career to date, having spent the first half of last term at another League Two side in Barrow.

The defender featured 24 times for the Bluebirds last season, but has found it difficult to break into a Mariners side that currently occupy a playoff place after 15 games of the campaign.

Reflecting on his time at Blundell Park so far, Eccleston told BBC Radio Humberside: "I feel like it's going well. Obviously I haven't got a lot of minutes, but I feel like with the minutes I have got, I would like to think that I've taken it well and I've done what I needed to do and what I think I've done was enough to prove that I'm a good player.
