HUDDERSFIELD defender Lynden Gooch insists Town “want to go far” in the EFL Trophy this season as they prepare to take on Rotherham United in the competition.

The Terriers host the Millers at the Accu Stadium in the round of 16 this evening (7pm kickoff) with just three games separating the sides and a trip to Wembley at this point.

Town head into the clash off the back of a last-gasp 1-0 defeat at Stockport County on Saturday, a result that brought an end to the Terriers’ seven-match unbeaten run and leaves them fifth in the League One table.
