HOLMFIRTH traders have issued a rallying cry to encourage visitors to continue enjoying everything the town has to offer.

Traders’ association Holmfirth Business Together has issued an impassioned “Holmfirth is open” statement following the recent “bombshell” news that Hollowgate in the centre of town is due to close from November 3-24 for works to take place. It is also now closed to through traffic until November 3, as the Kirklees Council works continue.
