PLANS for 150 homes which have sparked dozens of objections are set to be approved by officials.

- By TESS RUSHIN

Davidsons Developments Limited put forward the application for two fields to the east of Holt Way and to the south of Warwick Road, in Littlethorpe.

It is due to be discussed at Blaby District Council’s planning committee meeting on Thursday.

It is recommended for approval despite Narborough Parish Council and 46 members of the public writing in to object.

The total size of the site is 8.75 hectares adjoining the eastern edge of the village.

Plans say the area comprises one narrow farm field to the north and a much larger field to the south.
