Spencer becomes the sixth rider to join Gladiators

PLYMOUTH Gladiators are just one rider short of completing their lineup for the 2026 season after announcing Tom Spencer as their sixth rider.
The 25-year-old, who hails from Derbyshire, will fill the number seven spot in the team after turning in some notable performances for the team towards the back end of last season, when he was drafted in as injuries again derailed their hopes of silverware.
Speaking of his signing, Gladiators owner and promoter Mark Phillips said: “We were very pleased with the effort, commitment, and speed that Tom showed on the occasions he rode for us last season, and he has fully earned a full-season opportunity.
“Tom is an intelligent team player who always supports the side and is more than capable of scoring wins and valuable points in the crucial reserve races.
