Spectacular festival returns

WEEKEND SHOWS WILL SPAN MUSIC AND THEATRE
DRUMS, food, movement, music and much more will be showcased in Plymouth this weekend as it hosts spectacular performances.
Following a successful showcase in 2024, the two-day Plymouth Performance Weekend festival returns on May 24 and 25, with eight shows by city artists spanning theatre, comedy, music and performance.
The weekend events take place in The House venue at the University of Plymouth, in association with their wider Mayfest celebration of performance work. The festival features solo shows by theatre-makers Jung Borthwick, Alex Robins and Tony Bligh, storytelling by Henry Everett, live performance by Crumbling Rocks Theatre, comedy and music by Nuria Bonet and Weird Baby, Taiko Drumming by Elements and also a preview of the Plymouth Poetry Festival.
