Sailing charity aided by £2k donation

A DEVONPORT-based youth and disability charity has received a donation from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation after being nominated by colleagues from the Plymouth branch.

Horizons Sailing Charity has received the £2,000 donation from the building society’s Charitable Foundation to help it reach more communities in Plymouth.
Founded in 1991, Horizons Plymouth is based in Devonport. Whilst Plymouth proudly calls itself ‘the UK’s Ocean City’ many communities are excluded from the opportunities that the marine environment presents.
