PLYMOUTH Parkway manager Chris McPhee could not hide his frustration as the Yellows' bowed out at Bolitho Park this season with a disappointing 3-0 home defeat to relegated Frome Town in the Southern League Premier Division.

Parkway's poor display leaves McPhee piqued

After a shocking start, which saw Parkway trail 2-0 after just 11 minutes, things did not get any better with the Somerset side adding a third goal in the second half to run out clear winners and leave McPhee apologising to the 451 spectators that turned out to watch their final home league game of the season.

"It's really tricky for me to sum up," McPhee said. "It was a really poor start and a really poor approach from us really, from the very first whistle and conceding early. Frome did everything they could to put us off our game and knock us out of our stride and we never recovered.

"We were never able to mentally put things aside and focus on what we needed to do in order to be successful and what we have dine in previous games to be successful and control games. We were poor with the ball and made poor choices, our movement wasn't in sync with our normal game.
