A NEW charity hub has opened at Derriford Hospital. Located in a prime spot along from the main entrance, the charity's new home offers a welcoming space for the charity to connect with patients, visitors, and staff.

- By KIRSTIE MCCRUM

The new hub, which opened on Monday, is located in one of the hospital's busiest areas and will serve as a central point for showcasing the vital work of Plymouth Hospitals Charity.

The charity supports a wide range of initiatives across University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, aiming to improve patient care, enhance facilities, and support the wellbeing of hospital staff. By establishing a presence at the front of Derriford Hospital, the charity says it is better placed than ever to connect with people passing through the hospital every day.

It believes this increased visibility will help raise awareness of the charity's ongoing projects, the impact of donations, and the numerous ways people can get involved.
