City centre turning into 'hotspot for investors'

THE auction price of a building on New George Street points towards Plymouth city centre turning into a 'hotspot' for investors, a property specialist has said.

The three-storey building, which currently houses a Tui travel agency, is to be auctioned off with a guide price of £450,000, which experts say is a sign that property in the city is on the up.

Property specialists at Europe's "leading auction platform" BidX1 are set to put the New George Street property under the hammer this month.

The 220sq m building has offices above the travel agency, which are currently sublet on a long lease.
