OUR winning streak at Plymouth Albion is unfortunately over after a 29-14 loss at Rosslyn Park in National One last weekend.

Albion's unbeaten run ends but it's still been a good start

Plymouth Albion's Shea Cornish heads onto the hallowed turf of the Brickfields

Heading into the game, both sides were unbeaten in the first four league games played - and both had a perfect 20 point haul - but Rosslyn bought out the big guns and left us travelling back down the M4 and M5 with our tails between our legs.

Still, the loss was not as bad as it seemed, with Ryan Lamb happy with the way the boys had dug in and fought right to the final whistle. Rosslyn is always a difficult game to play. First and foremost, they play on a 4G artificial surface, meaning we were immediately on the back foot. Storm Amy also didn’t help matters in the big smoke; it was blowing a hooly, to put it mildly!
