Boeing takes near $5bn hit over delays in delivering its first 777X jets

Boeing yesterday further delayed the first delivery of its 777X jet until 2027 and has been hit by nearly $5bn (£3.8bn) in charges.
The 777X was central to Boeing's long-term widebody strategy, previously dominated by its 747 and 777.
