Asos turns to AI for style tips as sales fall by 12%

Asos has turned to AI stylists to try to win back customers.
The online fashion retailer said yesterday that its sales had fallen 12% in the year to 31 August, with City analysts predicting another year of decline.
The company is now testing “Styled for You”, which uses AI trained on its database of 100,000 outfits to suggest items that might go well with those a shopper has already bought or searched for.
