J&K govt data again reveals huge imbalance in issuance of category certificates

The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday disclosed a significant regional imbalance in the issuance of category certificates used to avail reservation benefits, marking the second such revelation this year.

As per the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the official data revealed in response to a question of MLA Pulwama Waheed-ur-Rehman, shows that the majority of certificates across various reserved categories over the past two years were issued in the Jammu region, with Kashmir receiving a smaller share.
