DC Budgam conducts Tehsil wise review of provision of revenue services, land transfer cases

BUDGAM, APRIL 17: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, Thursday chaired a meeting to take review of the Revenue services extended to the masses across all tehsils of the district.

DC emphasized the need for 100% digitization of Jamabandis to enhance transparency and efficiency in land records management. He directed all Revenue officials to prioritize clearing pendency under various heads and ensure prompt service delivery to the general public at all Revenue offices across the district.
DC instructed all officers to settle all reports and reverted cases under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) in their respective jurisdictions. He stressed that disposal of these cases should be stricted in a time-bound manner, ensuring that citizens may not face unnecessary delays.
