The Gazette
|August 06, 2025
IMAGES of 19 riot suspects have been released one year on from the disorder in Middlesbrough.
Since the serious and sustained disorder that occurred on the nation’s streets last summer, 1,876 people have been arrested with 1,110 charged in 12 months, according to latest statistics. Many have been through the courts and received significant prison sentences.
One year on from the disorder, police forces with suspects outstanding have come together to appeal for anyone with information relating to their identity to come forward. A dedicated website has been created featuring suspects from Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cleveland, Northumbria and Avon and Somerset.
Photographs of 19 outstanding riot suspects have been released from the disorder in Middlesbrough on August 4, 2024. Approximately 1,000 people walked down Linthorpe Road, but the protest turned violent as the rioters reached the junction with Clarendon Road.
