Woman, 28, to face trial over alleged attack on doorstep

AN alleged attacker's acrylic nails reportedly cut a woman’s face in a door-step confrontation.

Savannah Mason is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) in Middlesbrough, but the 28-year-old denies attending the woman’s home address and carrying out the attack.

Teesside Magistrates’ Court heard of a road row hours before the alleged attack which led to women becoming “irate”.

The Thornaby defendant allegedly knocked on the woman’s door two hours later, grabbing her hair and punching her in the face.

Mason appeared at the Middlesbrough court on Wednesday for a first hearing. She pleaded not guilty to ABH on March 12, last year.
