BORO REFLECT ON BRISTOL CITY DRAW AND LOOK AHEAD TO BLACKBURN

- By CRAIG JOHNS

MIDDLESBROUGH will be looking to put Saturday's draw with Bristol City quickly behind them, as they begin preparations for this weekend's trip to Blackburn Rovers.

The late heartbreak meant Boro's home woes carry on into the international break. With sides arriving at the Riverside to frustrate, Kim Hellberg's side are now winless in four games and won't get an opportunity to change that until Millwall's visit for a huge Good Friday clash.

In contrast, Boro are enjoying games away from home right now, winning five of their last six games on the road. Needing to get back to winning ways to head into the international break with some positivity, the trip to Ewood Park is no doubt therefore welcomed.

As for preparation for it, after a tiring week for Boro - they played three games in six days because the QPR game being played last Sunday - Hellberg will no doubt relish an extended period working with his players at Rockliffe and use the free week to offer rest to some players, too, as he guards against fatigue.

But above all else, Hellberg will continue his mission for improvement and development at Boro - both collectively as a team and individually.

In that sense, the Swede is trying to remove the reactionary nature and pressure that can build from too much focus on results.
