Three top strikers, so more chances needed
The Gazette

YOU gotta start creating more chances Boro!
-
No team can win every game, but just one shot on target at Portsmouth was not what you would expect from a table-topping side.
The loss of the top spot should not be seen as too much of a negative in such a competitive league, but a clear indication that we need to see the creative side of the team begin to pay dividends.
If Boro’s hard work on the pitch is combined with added creativity, then Rob Edwards’ men can still consolidate their place in an automatic promotion position over the next few months.
The basic fact is that the new boys, all 11 of them, are still taking time to get their feet firmly under the table.
Despite everything that Edwards’ new-look side has achieved so far this season, it’s surely going to get better once that everybody is singing from the same hymn book.
This means creating more chances as the understanding on the pitch continues to progress, and more goals.
We've got three strikers in David Strelec, Tommy Conway and Kaly Sene, all of whom should be capable of reaching double figures at this level.
