A POPULAR Teesside takeaway is celebrating a hat-trick of recent accolades to add to its long list. Balti Hut in Middlesbrough has been crowned the North East's Best Takeaway of the Year 2025 by Asian Restaurant Awards.

The family-run Linthorpe eatery already has a huge haul of awards and is thrilled to be adding the latest one to the list. Staff from the Roman Road business travelled to Manchester for the finals of the competition and were delighted to win.
