Specialist now on board to help fix leaking lake

A COUNCIL is yet to resolve issues with a historic boating lake that has been failing to hold water.
In December, last year, Redcar and Cleveland Council leader Alec Brown asked for patience from the public and said he wanted to see the required remedial work on Redcar's boating lake completed by Easter or Spring at the latest.
But with the summer season now having begun at the start of June, there's still no solution or opening date in the offing for the 1930s built structure, which has been a familiar sight for countless visitors to the seaside town.
