Rising costs are blamed for pub closure

ANOTHER popular pub has closed down with bosses blaming rising costs and “unrealistic” brewery terms.
-
The Hope and Anchor in Greatham Village, off the A689 in Hartlepool, offered a range of traditional pub grub and 96% of reviewers on the Facebook page recommended it.
However, in a social post, pub bosses announced there was no viable way forward to continue trading.
