NUNTHORPE voters have chosen Reform UK candidate Joanne Rush as their new councillor.

She was elected to Middlesbrough Council with 35.79% of the vote and becomes the local authority's first Reform councillor.
The by-election was held on Thursday and followed the resignation of Lib Dem councillor Morgan McClintock.
