Heart FM presenter Kelly says she also vowed never to take part in the ITV show, but says she changed her mind after running this year’s London Marathon.

“T have said I will never do I’m A Celebrity... several times,’ says Kelly, who turns 46 later this month.

“I didn’t think it was ever in me to do the challenges and Bushtucker Trials. But since I have been with my husband, we have done a few things that I’ve surprised myself by.

“We did [BBC reality show] Race Across the World and I ran the London marathon this year - two things I never thought I had in me.

“I'm such a fan of the show that I thought, ‘Maybe 1 could do it, maybe 1 could cope’ I won't know unless I try and so I am going to throw myself into it”

McFly singer Danny Jones was crowned King of the Jungle last year and the new batch of celebrities say they are up to the challenge of life in the jungle.
