Lions 'stretched to the max' by Blades

MILLWALL boss Alex Neil felt his side were fortunate to come away from Sheffield United with a 1-0 Sky Bet Championship victory.

Luke Cundle's first-half strike put them ahead but the Blades who face Boro at the Riverside on Saturday were much sharper after the break and were perhaps unfortunate not to get anything out of the game.
Louie Barry and Gustavo Hamer brought impressive saves from Steven Benda in the second period but United have now lost all four of their fixtures in this fledgling campaign.
For the Lions, they bounced back from last week’s 3-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough and lie in eighth spot three games into the league season.
Neil said: "Sheffield United are a good side, aren't they? I know it’s been a difficult start for them but what they've got, they're a good team. Most of these players last year finished the season really strongly, finished with 92 points, something ridiculous like that.
