'I want us to go further and faster'

A NEW Hartlepool regeneration leader has set out an ambitious vision to go “further and faster” for the people of his home town.

Mark Robinson has been appointed to lead Hartlepool Development Corporation (HDC) into its next phase.

Mark, who has experience in retail and regeneration, set out his vision for the town at a public board meeting at Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre on Tuesday.

The Hartlepool-born businessman said his priority is ensuring that local people feel the benefits of regeneration projects.

The 54-year-old founded developer-investor Ellandi which revitalised over 50 town centre communities across the UK before selling to NewRiver plc in July 2024.
