Great to watch and great to feel promotion is possible

HAVE Boro played better in modern times than they did in the first half against QPR?

Probably not. It was absolutely scintillating, fast flowing football which cut their London opponents to ribbons.

Boro should have had five goals before the interval, but we may have to accept that this side will continue to create a lot more chances than it puts away.

As long as we keep winning there's not much to worry about.

The strange thing, however, is that Boro seem to ease off when they appear to have the three points in the bag.

It happened at Hull and Charlton, and it happened again against QPR.

It's hard to imagine that Kim Hellberg tells his players to deliberately sit back and absorb a bit of pressure throughout much of the second half.
