Five candidates for Nunthorpe ward by-election

A BY-ELECTION will take place next month in the south of Middlesbrough.

Candidates and activists from various political parties have been pounding the streets of Nunthorpe and knocking on doors across the ward, all in an attempt to win the votes and trust of local residents on Thursday, December 4.

Reform UK and the Liberal Democrats were first and second out of the gate announcing their candidates at the end of October, with three other political parties since confirming that they will also be contesting the election.

No independent candidates are standing in next month's poll.
