YOUTH WORKER TEAM HAS SECURED £400K IN FUNDING

A YOUTH project which has supported children in Middlesbrough for more than three decades has celebrated a year of success since achieving charity status.
Linx Youth Project is dedicated to supporting people aged 10 to 18 and, over the past year, the organisation has made significant strides in its mission to empower young people through a variety of engaging programmes. Operating daily youth clubs from Monday to Friday, Linx provides a safe and welcoming space for young people to socialise, develop skills and connect with dedicated youth workers.
Banna Faidulla, project support officer at Linx Youth Project, highlighted the array of activities offered, including cooking, baking, sports, arts and crafts.
She said: “We aim to equip young people with practical skills for everyday life, such as preparing healthy and nutritious meals.
“The focus is on learning through enjoyable activities, ensuring that gaining new skills feels less like a classroom setting and more like fun.”
