THE CERTAINTY OF UNCERTAINTY

There's an old story about a father and daughter who had not spoken to each other for years.

The daughter left home because the father didn't approve of the relationship she was in.

From that day on, the two had not spoken to each other.

One day, the father got sick and had to be admitted to the hospital. He asked the nurse to get a pen and paper, jot down the number of his daughter and inform her about his predicament.

A week passed, and the daughter still didn't visit the hospital. One evening, as he was having a hard time breathing, the father asked the nurse to send a text message to his daughter, telling her that he had forgiven her.

In the morning, the daughter finally visited the hospital, but learned that her father passed away that night.

Many of us tend to view certain tasks as things that we can do later - firm in the belief that there's always tomorrow.
