PB asking TIEZA help in restoring churches

The Cebu Provincial Board has passed two resolutions requesting the assistance of the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) and expressing full support to the Archdiocese of Cebu and national agencies for the restoration and reconstruction of heritage churches damaged by the 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck northern Cebu on September 30, 2025.
During its regular session on October 20, 2025, the Provincial Board (PB) urged TIEZA to allocate funds for the repair and reconstruction of churches that are considered tourism destinations in the province.
The resolutions were filed separately by 7th District PB Member Paz “Lingling” Rozgoni.
