The Cebu City government honored more than a thousand city scholars who graduated with distinction during the 9th Cebu City Latin Honors Awarding Ceremony held at the IC3 Convention Center.
Awardees received certificates of recognition and cash incentives—P20,000 for Summa Cum Laude, P15,000 for Magna Cum Laude, and P10,000 for Cum Laude—in what city officials described as a fitting holiday tribute to academic excellence.
The annual event, organized through the Cebu City College Scholarship Program, highlighted the city's continued commitment to investing in education and empowering the youth.
