Garcia eyes expansion of CHAMP services

Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia has pledged to explore the possibility of expanding the services under the City’s Hospitalization Assistance and Medicines Program (CHAMP), a key initiative aimed at providing essential healthcare access to low-income families.

“This is to ease the burden of the Cebuanos, especially those in need, and at the same time, make quality healthcare accessible,” Garcia said. During a recent turnover of checks to beneficiaries who had completed the requirements for reimbursement, Mayor Garcia reaffirmed the City Government’s commitment to strengthening and broadening the scope of CHAMP.
