With different goals in mind, the three-time defending champions University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers and the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters kick off their best-of-three series for the college division championship of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) Season 25 basketball tournament today (Tuesday, December 9) at the Cebu Coliseum.
Tip-off is set for 6:45 p.m., right after the knockout battle for third place between the Benedicto College (BC) Cheetahs and the University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors at 5:15 p.m.
The Lancers booted out the Cheetahs via a close 70-66 decision while the Webmasters dumped the Warriors out, 77-61, to set up a grand finals showdown for the fourth consecutive time.
