Driver falls asleep, causes 10-vehicle crash

Ten vehicles were involved in a vehicular accident at F. Vestil Street, Mambaling, Cebu Cityinside the premises of a non-operational gasoline station-at around 6:30 a.m. on April 20, 2025.
Investigation conducted by traffic personnel revealed that 19-year-old Jaanhere Angelo Sadaza of Lapu-Lapu City was on board a Nissan Terra SUV and was approaching the gasoline station when he reportedly fell asleep, causing his foot to press down on the accelerator.
All the other vehicles were parked inside the gasoline station when Sadaza's vehicle veered to the right and hit the rear portion of the first parked vehicle, which then struck the remaining vehicles in a chain reaction.
