Bercede vows to cooperate with Ouano

Fresh from his election victory, Mandaue City Vice Mayor-elect Glenn Bercede has expressed willingness to cooperate with Mayor-elect Thadeo Jovito “Jonkie” Ouano despite belonging to different political parties—all for the good of the Mandauehanons.

“Bisan og lahi mi og partido basta kaayuhan sa Mandauehanon, supportaan gyud nato,” Bercede said, assuring he is ready to work with Ouano.
Bercede also said he hopes the new mayor will continue the unfinished projects of the previous administration.
“Kay ang resulta gud ana, atong tumong man gyud ang kaugmaon sa mga Mandauehanon nga mulambo ang atong syudad,” he added.
Returning as the presiding officer of the city council, Bercede is optimistic that councilors from different parties will find a common ground.
The upcoming city council will include six members from the One Mandaue party--Joel Seno, Fritz Villamor, Eugene Andaya, Ben Basiga, Ting Sol Cabahug, and Anjong Ouano-Icalina.
