37K cops to secure school opening

Over 37,000 police officers will secure students for the opening of classes in public schools on June 16, the Philippine National Police said yesterday.

With a week before classes for school year 2025 to 2026 opens, PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said security measures to protect students, teachers and school employees are in place.
