Vishnunath’s Sabarimala gold parody moment draws eyes and ears

A brief, unscripted burst of song by MLA PC Vishnunath has triggered wide discussion across Kerala's political and cultural circles, after the legislator sang a parody linked to the Sabarimala Swarnapali controversy while responding to reporters in Delhi.

The moment, captured on video and widely shared online, blended humour, political messaging and a familiar devotional tune, quickly drawing applause as well as renewed scrutiny of the song's origins.The ruling front leadership's assessment places Sabarimala gold as a influenced major factor that the results of the local body elections, which saw CPM and front partners suffer humiliating defeat across the state.Vishnunath, a general secretary of KPCC, broke into the parody while speaking to journalists about the UDF performance in local body elections.
