In a significant advancement for healthcare in Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the CIMS Super Specialty Hospital in Bilaspur (Koni) on Tuesday, coinciding with Dhanvantari Jayanti and the ninth Ayurveda Day.

The hospital, built at a cost of Rs 200 crore, aims to enhance healthcare access in the region.
During a ceremony in New Delhi, Modi also laid the foundation for various health projects across India, totaling over Rs 12,850 crore, including a new 100-bedded Central Yoga and Naturopathy Research Institute in Raipur.
Emphasizing the connection between public health and national progress, he stated that a healthier population leads to faster development.
