In a strong warning to Pakistan, Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Friday declared that India will not show the restraint it exercised during Operation Sindoor if there is another military conflict, and said Pakistan must stop sponsoring terrorism if it wants to retain its place on the world map.

Addressing soldiers in Anupgarh in Rajasthan’s Sri-ganganagar district, General Dwivedi urged troops to remain fully prepared, stressing that India is ready to take stronger action in the future. “India, as a country, is fully prepared this time. And this time, it will not show the restraint that it showed during Operation Sindoor 1.0. This time, we will take a step forward and act ina manner that will make Pakistan think whether it wants to remain on the world map or not,” he said in a sternly worded address.

The Army chief asserted that Pakistan must end its policy of state-sponsored terrorism if it wants to retain legitimacy globally. "Keep yourselves fully prepared now, if god wants, the opportunity will come soon," he told the soldiers.
