BMC assures court it will finish the bridge within 15 months; the court had earlier rapped the civic body over inordinate delay despite written assurances in court last year
The BMC on Wednesday informed the Bombay High Court that the construction of the much-delayed foot over bridge (FOB) from Bandra East railway station towards MHADA office, leading to Bandra-Kurla Complex commenced on March 1. It also assured the court that the project will be completed within 15 months, including the monsoon months. The HC has asked the BMC to file periodical affidavits every three months giving details of progress made.
