ACI treats rare heart condition with Cutting-Edge Device

The Advanced Cardiac Institute (ACI) at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, Raipur, achieved a significant medical milestone by treating a patient with "Sick Sinus Syndrome" (SSS), a rare heart condition characterized by irregular heart rhythms.

The team, led by Head of Cardiology Dr. Smit Srivastava, implanted a state-of-the-art Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy with Defibrillator (CRT-D) device in the patient's heart.
The CRT-D device not only regulates heartbeat but also enables remote monitoring through a smartphone app using BlueSync technology. This allows doctors to track the patient's heart activity virtually, offering timely interventions in case of irregularities.
