US missile sale to Pak another blow: Congress

Congress on Wednesday said the US Dept of War's recent issuance of a public notification awarding countries like Pakistan with the supply of its Raytheon air-to-air missiles reflected on “how quickly the diplomatic climate changes, and how quickly diplomatic setbacks accumulate!”

Party leader Jairam Ramesh, who in the past has often mocked the “friendship” of PM Narendra Modi and US President Trump as “expensive” for India, on Wednesday refrained from naming either while flagging the issue of the US sale of missiles to Pakistan through a recent order.
