Six-month data shows 83,785 challans issued as citizen reporting boosts targeted enforcement
More than 83,000 vehicles have been penalised after citizens filed traffic-violation complaints through the Pune Traffic Police (PTP) Traffic Cop App.
In the past six months, 1,11,136 violations were reported across the city, including corner parking, double parking, fancy number plates, footpath driving, footpath parking, heavy vehicles in no-entry zones, using mobile phones while driving, tinted glass, triple seat riding, and wrong-side driving.
