Pottery Corp chief nabbed in 'cut' scam

Vigilance and Anti-C-orruption Bureau officials in Thrissur took into custody K. N. Kuttamani, chairman of the Kerala State Clay Pottery Marketing and Development Corporation, on Wednesday, alleging that he solicited illicit commission in connection with the supply of flowerpots.
Investigators assert that Kuttamani demanded a commission of %3 per flowerpot from a pottery unit owner in Chittissery for a contract to supply 5,372 units to the Valanchery Krishi Bhavan.
