Mkts rise as economic tailwinds strengthen
The Free Press Journal - Mumbai
|February 11, 2026
Indian equities advanced on Tuesday as improving growth prospects and easing external risks bolstered investor confidence, extending the market's recent rally for a third straight session.
Support came from declining foreign investor outflows, appreciation in the rupee and expectations that private capital expenditure is beginning to revive after years of weakness. The resolution of trade-related uncertainty between India and the US has further reduced a key overhang on market sentiment.
“Near-term direction will depend on the trajectory of corporate earnings,’ said Vinod Nair, head of research at Geojit Investments.
